The mesh gabion is more flexible than the welded gabion, so the performance of the settlement and load is different, although the filling stone material should be carefully to ensure that the stone is filled very tightly, but sometimes it is thought that the rigid stone box is easier to fill, for non-standard shapes, such as turning, or can produce large subsidence, when the woven wire or polymer lattice structure deformation, When there is no loss of strength, this type of structure is preferred.

Equipped with different types of stone cage nets have different characteristics. The angular blocks can interlock with each other well, and the stone cage filled with it is not easy to deform. Therefore, it is more effective than circular stones in large shear retaining walls, and on the other hand, it is conducive to the connection of the gabion. The general size of the filler is 1.5 times the average mesh size. A single stone is not less than the standard mesh size (usually the size of the woven gabion is (60mmX80mm ~ 100mmX120mm), generally not more than 200mm standard size.
4: Internal filling. Mechanical filling is generally faster and cheaper, but not as well controlled as manual filling. For the modified retaining wall, it should produce a better appearance and form a dense structure. When using these two methods, the filler must be completely filled with gabion net. The filler must be well filled to minimize voids, with good contact between individual blocks, and packed as tightly as possible to reduce the possibility of stone movement in the cage.
